Hi, the alternative to Gyrator2 has evolved into a very great app!

Among the many useful options (vibration, exceptions etc) it now calls the soft keyboard up to deploy - no more having to press the little keyboard icon on the bottom of your screen!!!!

Here's the updated version:

A lot of people want to type messages in landscape and do other things on their Diamonds in that mode just by turning their phone.  Well these three programs take care of that and are fairly simple to use.  Here is a thread to ask for help, discuss and basically give feedback on your experiences with each application.

Here is the link to our thread regarding Gyrator2...http://www.alltouchdiamond.com/index.php/topic,627.0.html

ChangeScreen is my choice now when using the accelerometer, it's easy to use, not that big a program and works pretty much flawlessly.  What I like most about it it the application takes the guess work out of naming and finding Widows Class names for applications.  You can run the configurator and have it tell you the name of what program is running on your Diamond, you enter that, then select which screen configs you want and its done.

FlipIt was not on my phone very long, it worked and everything but the other two were easier for me to use.
