WARNING:  Flashing is a more advanced technique with the Diamond.  If you are not ready for something like this, please read all you can about it, and then determine if you want to continue forward.  If you do this, everyone at alltouchdiamond.com is not to be held responsible for damaged phones.  There is another warning listed on ppcgeeks that Juicy and other developers are not to be held responsible for anything that happens as well.  This thread is posted due to positive experiences, and to let people know what else is out there.  When running a Rom like this, please understand that you are part of a “testing” community.  None of these are official to any service provider, and are not guaranteed by anyone.
This ROM was built & tested with TELUS users in mind, but should work on other carriers.

Compatibility List: TELUS, Bell, Sprint, Alltel
**Software individual to carriers, like Sprint Nav, and TV (example), must be installed by separate cabs.

BACKUP everything you have including contacts, because they will be erased!

INTERNAL STORAGE  will not be touched, but applications you have installed on it will not be in the new program list.  I would recommend backing up your internal storage in a folder on your computer and going to all settings, clear storage (under systems tab), choosing “format internal storage only,” and typing in 1234.  You will have to re-install all those programs again.
Another way is to leave the internal storage alone, and using Total Commander to create a shortcut into the start menu.  You click on the program in the “program files” folder in the internal storage.  Select the application in T.C. and click “file” then  “>>>>>” then “Create Shortcut.”    When the window pops up choose “Tree.”   Open the “+” for “Windows”, and highlight “Start Menu.”  Press “Ok” then “Ok” and it should now be in the Program list

**Flashing a Stock Rom (Sprint’s original Rom for example), as well as re-locking the phone, must occur if you plan on sending it back to your carrier.  If your phone software is different than your carrier, it could void warranty’s and insurance.

Another good rom that you can try. Be sure to follow the flash guide that I linked in there.

Tip: Go into task manager settings (top right hand tab that shows the Ram %, and click the "wrench" icon), and under the "Buttons" tab, change the option to "End programs by tapping "X".   Juicy's Rom has this already selected.  This will save your battery life!

TIP:  When using Live Search on a flashed Rom, the GPS might not work right away to determine your "current GPS location."  To fix this, on the main screen, go to Menu, Settings, and set the GPS com port to 4.    

Hey, both of the roms have what you are inquiring about.

Mighty rom is more like stock rom. (older drivers for stablility)
Juicy has crazy reg. edits and tweaks that just drops your jaws but with few bugs time to time. (which he fixes weekly, this guy is a machine.)

It's all in matter of taste.
Try them out.

In 3.0 I heard that there is an issue with a "blank" communications section on the settings tab in Touchflo.  It lacks descriptions or something.  Can someone who has flashed to this version explain what this means?  Does it still have titles like "bluetooth" "Wifi" and just missing descriptions, or is it missing the titles as well?

If it is just the small-font descriptions I will go ahead with the flash.  If they are just blank buttons, I'm sticking with 2.7 until it is fixed.

Yeah everything is blank, except for the icons.  Like the BT button has the BT image but no writing next to it.  You can tell what everything does by the icon,so it's not an issue at all for me.

From Mike, he said that his release of 3.0 doesn't have memory leaks like ealier models of 1.9xx builds.
Which is a huge plus on it's own.

I just flashed 3.1 and Touchflo3D is much faster!  I didn't think it could go faster!   

Hi guys just tried to flash my diamond with this new roam and i did as they said on the topic and i flashed it with usb cable guess what happened the profess went till the end and whet it finished i restarted the diamond and then the screen stuck there on the logon TOUCHdiamond  and now my phone doesn't work any ideas what i can do   PLEASE HELP???

I tried now doing that but nothing happens when i press vol down+ enter key+ power button  nothing happens and when I unplug the usb from the phone and try to power on the phone then it shows the TuchDiamond logo and stops there.
what do u think is this a bad thing or is there anything else that I can try.
