Problem with sd card

I have a 8 gig msd card and it was in my blackberry before and i had the rahpsody to go on the card so 5 gigs are taken up and the music will not work on this phone. So when i try to delete the stuff on the card it says i cant and is protected. Is there a way to totally wipe this card and reformat it. THANKS FOR THE HELP...

Did you mean SD card?

Don't know if this will work, never tried it before, but maybe if you format the card it will clear it. I did a Google search and found this:

Thanks TrueEddie that software did not work it would not bypass the protection. What i ended up diong is putting it in my bb storm and formating it and so far i think its gonna work. thanks agian man.
