There is a program called Gyrator 2 out there now, and it works great so far on initial tests.   Everything can rotate, including WinMo applications. 

I found it easiest to download by using Opera or IE on your Diamond and navigate to their web site.  Download it straight from here.  http://gyrator.brins0.net/

Just thought I should add that you need to install the latest .net application from ms.

Also Windows Vista is not supported on active sync's cd so you would need to find something that has xp or less.

Are you talking about the CD that came with the Diamond from Sprint?  It works fine on Vista Home Premium.  What version of Vista are you runnin'?

vista ultimate x64.

Actually on the box it says that it doesn't list vista on the compatible list. I guess it works on x84 version somehow... damn ms...

Accelerometer is the thing that makes things go into landscape mode.  This program makes it so all aspects of the phone can go landscape.

Yes it works for text messaging.  It allows you to text message in landscape mode which in my mind makes texting soooooooooo much easier, whereas I prefer the fully qwerty keyboard. (and I have big fingers)  Only thing I have noticed is that Touchflo trys to fight it, even though I created a Special rule for TouchFLO, it still tried to fight it. 

Also as far as the Microsoft framework, I suggest installing it to your Internal storage, as the program is almost 7megs.  It works fine from Internal Storage.

Skeeterman...the link to microsoft framework 3.5 is in the second post of this thread.  Connect your phone to your computer then download the framework 3.5.  When it downloads it will find your phone, and say something like check your pocket pc if there are any changes needed.  On your phone save it to your Internal storage, (because its a big file) and thats it. Once in there, Gyrator 2 will work.

For Badboy and anyone else with this question.

All you need to do is update your Microsoft Framework to 3.5 (link in second post), then download the cab file, (link in the first post) or straight from disasters post.  After framework is installed then gyrator installed, the Gyrator will work right away.  no regedit required.

TF3d will rotate too, and can be a bit of an annoyance, but otherwise it's ok.  Like Jmy says you can create a rule to make it so it doesnt rotate, I havnt done that, and I still love the program.  This program is a must have for email and text, it makes them awesome in landscape mode.

So i was checking up on this program, and there has been an update.  A new version has been released, and it is much more user friendly, editing events and such.  TF3d rotation problem is fixed, and you can add an event to disable phone rotation. 

IF there are any questions on how to do these things, just ask and I shall do my best to help out.

Please go to his website to download the program, he worked hard on it, and will take donations if you feel the need.

Guys i have tried everyway possible and it will not work.I have done it hooked to my computer and it will tell me that it will be installed to my device on the next connection.When i reconnect it. It will not do anything.The gyrator is on there but if i click on it it tells me error i need a newer version of framework.Someone please help i would like to add this to my diamond
