I'm pretty sure Skyfire works on this phone, But not completely sure. So, does it work? And is it good? Better than opera?
I would see, but I don't have the phone yet, I plan to get it in a week or so. And I want to know what you guys think.

Yes, skyfire does work on the Diamond. Opera works so well that I haven't used it yet. The only reason I can see using it is on the rare occasion that Opera does not load a certain site you need. When the phone arrives you can always give it a try. If you don't like it, it can be uninstalled with a click of a button. Download for Skyfire: http://www.freewarepocketpc.net/ppc-download-skyfire.html

It is ok, the biggest advantage ia that it plays flash where opera doesnt. But when i tried a flash video there was no sound, will have to check that out later but yes it works.

Did you ever get that site you mentioned before working with Skyfire siptang? I think I will try the browser when I get a chance.

yea, that website worked. It was actually a recommendation from mike that i should try this as an alternative because on his opera it wouldn't work either.

jus to clear something up... opera still is the best and fastest, skyfire is slightly slower but thats because it supports flash..so say u wanted to watch a youtube video on a certain page, with opera you would have to close, open up our youtube app and find, with skyfire you can watch it right from web like a full size pc browser. so aall depends on the situation. opera still is the fastest though.

Be warned, installing skyfire will set you default browser to pocket IE and not Opera. The only way I found to fix it is to install the HTC HD version if opera that was listed in these forums and then i was able to get opera back to the default browser
