Hi all, can anybody explain Rss Hub please. I understand that it lets you know when you have new information on your favorite web site. Lets say 1 of my favorite web sites is phone scoop. How do I Get that to work on that site using the opera mini on our phones or do you have to have a pc to use Rss Hub? I want to start using it.  Can anybody break it down for me.  Im new to the world of pc's.  Thank you.  Cheers.

RSS is a service that sends out updates whenever an update to a website or newsfeed has occurred.  RSS Hub is a program that checks for those updates and lists them on the screen for you to check and read.  Say you like you like to go to yahoo news, but you don't wanna go to the web page everytime there's a new story.  What Yahoo news will do is use rss that anyone can subcribe to and send out an update over rss that there's a new story.  RSS Hub is checking the Yahoo rss so when they send that update about the story rss hub will display it in the program for you.  In Internet Explorer 7 you can tell when a site has an rss feed when the icon to the right of the home icon (the one that looks like a house) lights up orange, if it's gray then there isn't any rss feed.  In firefox you will see the same orange icon in the address bar with the address of the website and you can click these orange icons to see the address of the rss site and you can enter that into RSS Hub.  Some websites you will have to scroll to the bottom of the webpage for a link to their RSS feed(s).

Hope this helps even just a little.

The best thing to do is open the program and click on menu -> channels -> new and do a search for the website you want or browse through known ones.  Otherwise you will have to find the link for the sites rss feed manually on the site itself and then enter it manually
