I installed everything on my home PC and has been working fine in terms of Sync device to Outlook on laptop.  Now I'm trying to install it at work but when the CD in inserted, the program for set-up installation is greyed out and can't be accessed?  Does that mean it's only good for one PC (which seems silly as I'm planning on buying a new laptop in the near future)....How do I get around this?Huh??

im just taking a guess here.... but i think the reason why you cant install the app on your work pc is because you do not have permission to install it (i.e. you are not the adminstrator of that pc and that the adminstrator needs to give you permission to install any apps on your pc.) its just a guess.... but if that is not the case than you can always download active sync from here: http://www.microsoft.com/windowsmobile/en-us/help/synchronize/activesync45.mspx

hope that helps

THe problem was with the CD itself. When loaded, the ActiveSync selection was greyed out, while the OUtlook trial part was ok to install.  But I realized about the download part later and have already downloaded it....and will probably do the same when the new laptop arrives.
