Ok... there are lots of apps out there that do registry tweaks for you, as well as others that just help control what you are runnin' in windows mobile.  What is everyone's favorite configuration app?

Two I can't live without:

Advanced Configuration Tool
http://www.touchxperience.com/en/advanced-configuration-tool/downloads.html

Highlights: Does many registry tweaks for you, including showing settings that are "advised" to lead you in the right direction.  I was able to tweak many things as well as prolong battery life by turning on management for different items.  It's a great tool, and is very straight forward.  Warning: Don't edit anything unless you know what you are doing!

Advanced Task Manager

http://www.touchxperience.com/en/advanced-task-manager/downloads.html

Highlights: I mainly like this because there is an option to do a reset, instead of taking the back cover off and pressing the red button with the stylus.  It also shows what processes are going on in the background like Windows XP/Vista.

If you post an app, please make sure it works with the Diamond, and let us know what it is all about!  Post any bugs you might find as well.

Also check this link out if you want to do anything to your new diamond.

Ok this may sound stupid but where do I put the stuff after I download it?
I downloaded the Advanced Configuration Tool, it came with a zip file and after unzipping I put it in my documents on my phone and run the setup file but nothing happened.
I am just really new to pda's if someone could guide me that will be great

Is the setup a .cab or .exe file?  If it's .exe you may have to install it from your desktop while your phone is connected to activesync.
