not a taboo question - there are several solutions, but I think the cheapest available is the one for about 10 GBP, at http://diamond.htc-unlocks.com.. if you know xdadevs it's also nice because of Olipro

)

Have yet to try, because my Diamond ships on Monday. But it looks promising on the Swedish models, I don't see any feedback from US phones yet..

hi,

I'm not entirely sure how it is in your country, but down here, after calling many stores, I found this one store that sold me a legal unlocked phone. They didn't do anything at all to it, they just put my SIM in there and it worked. I have vodafone and the phone is locked with "Airtel". Now the phone still has the airtel logo on startup and a shortcut on the TF3d internet tab, but i can still use the phone with vodafone.

Try asking as many stores as possible, maybe you might find one too.

olipro's unlocking not free is very good £10.50

works and never ever will be locked again whatever you do - rom upgrades/ radio etc etc

i searched every where didnt work you waste more time than its worth
