Change Splash Screen

I know I had seen where someone had done this before, but I can't seem to find it again... Just looking to be pointed in the right direction. Thanks!

Use taskmanager 3.1 , start registry editor ,go to HKLM\Software\HTC\HTCAnimation,on it look for startupgif and edit the key and type in the path of your gif file
