I have the same problem too!
I am new to this PDA phone scene so if anyone could help that would be great.
Btw, my phone is GSM.

PS. I did went through the xda developers site but I have no clue how to install their stuff so if someone could walk me through it that will be awesome! Wink

I'm no GSM expert but the steps are relatively similar to cdma.

1.) unlock your phone.

create activesync [download it from microsoft] with your pc or laptop and follow steps from the read me txt or guide. (You can use the guide provided it in the tut section under various rom download and install guides, it's really self explanatory and easy since your pc screen guides you step by step once you have program running.)

2.) Find a rom that you like and download it and install it.

For GSM I don't know too many custom roms however I have been hearing that dutty's rom is stable maybe you can start from there. Just read and follow his directions.

3.) Enjoy your new unlocked/limitless PPC.

If any questions, feel free to post. I'll try to be specific as possible.

Remember not to use the Diamond Unlocker from PPCGeeks, it is for CDMA only.
