I know the HTC has bluetooth as well as WiFi, so I had an idea that this might work...

I used to have a Palm Tungsten or whatnot, and the one feature I liked about it was that it came with a wireless fold-up keyboard that you could just place near it and it would allow you to type onto the device itself using the keyboard. It used bluetooth.

I was wondering if there was a "universal" one which would work with the HTC Touch Diamond or perhaps with Windows Mobile 6.1? Since the Diamond has mobile Office, I could use this instead of lugging around my huge laptop with me everywhere. It would be really neat.

Anyone have any ideas?

That is the best idea!  The Diamond does comes with Office like you said... That includes Word, Excel, and Powerpoint.  If there was a small keyboard like the one you mentioned, this would be like a very nice "Limited to" internet/mobile/word-processing/instant-messaging/Calling/Gaming laptop.  And when you think about it, it really isn't that "limited" after all!

I did like 20 Powerpoint presentations in my last class (end of class, 30min exercises - Powerpoint as a means to present Architecture ideas instantly).   I wouldn't have to leave class to use the computer anymore. haha

Is this what you are talking about?

HP has one for Windows 5.0... I wonder if it would work for 6.1? (copy and paste this link for it to work)

SCORE: This Keyboard works with the first HTC Touch.  It supports Win 6.0.   This means it will also support 6.1 because the Touch can be upgraded to 6.1 right? (Speculation - Pricey as well: $139.99)

What about a palm keyboard?

Apparently other palm keyboards work with windows mobile (this one works with the HTC Kaiser)

You can use wireless keyboard with any device with Bluetooth.  However, to register the keyboard with your device you need device software specific drivers and registration keys
