HTC Touch Diamond Slide-in Case

i'm also looking forward in getting this "cool" slide leather case...but it's still not available yet!!! i've had the phone for a week and yet, still no pouch/case for it.....

Well...so far, i'm still playing around with it. I've installed MapKing3D 2007, CE Star, Yahoo!Go, GoogleNav, and PocketIslam on the phone and works great compared to my old O2 Atom Life...except for TCPMP. It doesn't work on this device!
The GPS reception is quite good....But, i noticed that the battery life of the phone is a bit on the downside...most probably because it's still new to me and i've been playing around with it too much! Oh, and the G-sensor is great!!! I haven't installed any games on it yet...Still busy with "Teeter".

I was told by the distributor of HTC in my country (Malaysia), that the original HTC slide-in leather case for Touch Diamond will be here by the first week of July...what a long wait this will be!!

This will also apply for their other Diamond accessories including the sync'ng/charging dock, battery and the individual battery charger (for the the second battery if you don't want to charge your second battery with the phone)....

I think I will buy a kind of this slide for my Diamond.

Bad news for Canadians 

I ordered the case and received it today, with much excitement but alas I was disappointed 

This is for the CANADIAN HTC TOUCH DIAMOND owners/purchasers ONLY:

The dimension specs for the Canadian version of the HTC Touch Diamond (our backing is different, doesn't have the 'diamond' effect backing) is 101 mm up and down X 51 mm across X 14 mm thick. (taken directly from the TELUS website: http://www.telusmobility.com/on/pcs/handset_htc_p3051.shtml)

The dimension specs for the US/European version of the HTC Touch Diamond (with the 'diamond' effect backing) is 102 mm up and down X 51 mm across X 11.35 mm thick. (taken directly from the Website: http://www.htc.com/www/product.aspx?id=46286)

The dimensions of the pouch are 105mm up and down X 52mm across X 12mm thick.

That's a difference of 2.65mm between the two versions of the diamond and a difference of 2mm from the TELUS HTC Touch Diamond and the pouch, which doesn't seem like a lot but because the case is so form fitting it makes a difference.

So, obviously the case is too small 'thickness' wise for the Canadian version of the HTC Touch Diamond, so when you're taking it out it becomes a struggle because it's so snug, which is troublesome when you need to answer a call right away.

It's a sleek black pouch with the hidden inside strap ensuring that your phone doesn't fly out and yes you can load it through the top or bottom. It has a nice soft cushion lining on the inside that protects your phone.

For the non-Canadians, this pouch is a great investment. If you're worried about your phone flying out of it, don't.. because the pouch is so form fitting that it won't (obviously not a guarantee on my end, but from what I can gauge out of it).

It matches the sleekness of the phone and it looks awesome

REMEMBER: THIS IS ONLY FOR THE TELUS VERSION OF THE HTC TOUCH DIAMOND AND NOT ALL VERSIONS (this case will work perfectly if the dimensions of your device are 102 mm up and down X 51 mm across X 11.35 mm thick).

i was gonna get this. and then get one of those universal blet clip things. and attach the belt clip to it.
