Hey everyone. Now that the HTC Diamond is out for Sprint, I'm sure there will be tons of accessories coming out soon. Please list what you find, along with where you can get it (web link if it applies), and a quick review if you already have it!

A word of warning to everyone buying a Sprint HTC Touch Diamond. Do not buy the current version of the Touch Diamond invisibleshield. It is not the right one. The screen only protection will work, but the Full body protection will not work, as it is designed for the phone with the prism on the back. That goes along with also any of the bodyglove type plastic and rubber protectors that are available right now, as Sprint has changed the back of the phone with a bigger battery, and the phone is now thicker because of it.
Just thought I would go ahead and warn you so you didnt waste your hard earned money on something that wont work for your phone.

This is right, but I'm sure they will have a one for Sprint users very soon. They had the Instinct shields out about 10 days after the phone came out... I purposely forget the exact dates because it reminds me that I still have the Instinct for another week. I would expect one very soon! And remember to click the link on this site when you do order one! InvisibleShield is awesome!

This is the only place that I found the new Sprint/CDMA skin: http://www.handhelditems.com/touch-diamond-sprint-cdma-c-3524_5132_5639.htmlI just dropped about $30 here with shipping and got the black skin, the wall and car chargers that allow you to plug in your own USB cable, the retractable USB cable and if you check out the GSM Diamond accessories, you'll find a USB to 3.5mm audio adapter. I imagine that the GSM USB and the CDMA work the same way. If not, it was only $3. Totally worth it for the money to get everything you need in one shot.

Nice. Let us know if that retractable USB cable is the right one. It says that it's 5-pin Mini USB (and most of the compatible phones listed are 5-pin), but the Diamond is actually an 11-pin Mini USB phone so I didn't order it. I hope it works...

I just ordered the rubber hard case, a black skin, and the usb to 3.5mm jack from hand held items. Use code "handheld10" for 10% off of 20.00 or more. I don't even have my phone yet, but at least my accessories are on the way. Has anyone seen this cradle: http://www.windowsmobilenow.com/us/p_wm_acc1.aspx?i=169488 . I'm thinking of getting one since it works with the Pro as well.

Any usb to mini usb cable will work for charging and data. I'm using a retractable one that was sold as a cable for the PS3.

Hello manufacturers!!! In case you didn't know it, you have OPPORTUNITIES right under your nose. There is a real need by the Sprint Diamond customers for ACCESSORIES. There is a clear need for nice cases, skins, leather pouches, slider pouches and an opportunity to take advantage of that huge design problem, the notorious Sprint burgundy back cover where a compatible diamond cover as an option is NEEDED.
I have searched the internet and seen the dearth of ACCESSORIES for this ever growing product. Hmmm, sounds like an OPPORTUNITY to make some $$ if you ask me. What do you think?

WARNING about ordering from http://www.handhelditems.com if you have a Sprint Touch Diamond: The cords they are selling do NOT fit the phone. It was a shock when my extra cord and car charger that came in the mail yesterday was not the right connection type. I was informed by them over the phone that this is the only cord they sell. They apparently did not do any research before claiming accessories for the phone. This goes for their car chargers (with cord attached), as well as USB cords. EDIT: The black rubber case (also in other colors) rocks! These WILL work with the CDMA Diamonds!

I went on eBay and purchased an OEM HTC Touch Diamond car charger, the one with the illuminated blue HTC logo. Others I purchased heat the phone while charging and actually causes the battery to discharge while connected. The OEM I got charges quickly and properly and looks beautiful in the car too. I got one on eBay for $15.00, just seach OEM HTC Touch Diamond car charger. I know they retail for twice as much.

Does anyone know if there is an extra 1350 mha battery for sale somewhere out there for the CDMA Diamond? I want to get a spare battery and dual charger. All I can find are the crappy 900 mha ones.

Did they change the dimensions on the phone to accommodate that larger battery?

The European back will not fit. The dimensions changed from a more rectangular edge (Europe) to rounded corners (CDMA - Sprint, Telus).
