I put quite a few MP3s on my phone and then tried to find them from the Sprint Music app.  I couldn't figure out how.  Is the Sprint Music app simply for purchasing music from the store?  Does it only play music you purchased through the sprint store?

If it's not possible to play my own MP3s through the sprint music app then my next question is, can I uninstall it without messing anything up? I don't purchase music so I don't need that feature.

Thanks

It plays your music, but you need to update the library and maybe even soft reset. It will search the phone and list all music files, even ring tones.

Thanks!  The library finally updated itself (probably because I did a reset).  So now I see my music.

Next question, how do I delete things?
On the Now Playing tab, I have the 2 songs listed that were loaded on the phone when I got it.  I can't find a delete button or option on a menu to get rid of them. I finally resorted to deleting the files from the music folder but now I have 2 icons on Now Playing which indicate that the phone can't find them.

The only option on the Menu when I'm on the Now Playing page are Add to Playlist and Now Playing.   Where's the delete?

I want them gone!

Many thanks

You could just create a playlist or two. Then you don't have to worry about all that other jazz showing up. Once you play the first song off of your playlist, it will now be the only thing showing up in "Now Playing".
