Hello,

I'm fairly new to windows mobile, I've tried everything else (symbian based phones, etc.), being very disappointed with them, so I thought I could try Windows Mobile-based phone. Anyways, I can't do a very basic thing: connecting to Internet from my MacBook Pro running OS X Leopard.

I downloaded Ross Barkman's Windows Mobile connect script, paired notebook and phone (pairing works), set phone number to *99#. But when I click on connect, I see "Connecting" and then "Disconnecting", phone does not say a word. As several people had success using exact the exact same procedure as I, I believe it's something special with Windows Mobile.

Has anyone had success with HTC TD & Mac OS X connecting to Internet?

  From log:

Thu Jul 17 18:26:44 2008 : Windows Mobile GSM
Thu Jul 17 18:26:46 2008 : Dialling *99#
Thu Jul 17 18:26:47 2008 : CCLExit: -6021 (No carrier.)
Thu Jul 17 18:26:47 2008 : Connect script failed

I can use HSDPA from phone (when I start Opera, it just connects to the Internet
and everything seems to work).

      Juraj.
