When i receive a text message, i receive it at the right time. However, when i go to check it, it shows up as 5 hours behind.

ex. 9pm i receive a text go look at it and it says, Today 4PM, anyone know how to fix this?

wrong time stamp, you can try to add a registry key to see if that fixes it.

HKEY_Local Machine/Software/OEM/Phone setting
Add DWord value TrustTimeZoneField
Set Value to 0

then soft reset

Get a Reg edit program like PHM found here...http://freewareppc.com/utilities/phmregistryeditor.shtml

Open it up and go to HKEY_Local Machine/Software/OEM/Phone setting, you'll find it, its hard to miss.  Remeber to click on Phone Setting itself, not inside the folder.

Next click "edit", then "New DWORD Value"

Under value name, TrustTimeZoneField

Under Value, 0

Ok I have a really weird problem with my sprint Htc diamond. I download ringers and I set the one I want for the text messages. Then while on a call and recieve a text I hear the song soo loud and I can't hear what the person is saying. I have to wait untill the song ends so that I can say " Ok what I didn't hear anything" can somebody pleease help me. Is there a way to stop the song while on a call. Or even when not on a call it rings even after I have already checked the new text msg. Hellpp!!

Download PHM Reg editor http://freewareppc.com/utilities/phmregistryeditor.shtml

Use that editor to navigate to that key...I'm not sure if the change will work, it has for some and not for others.  I will look for other possible fixes for you.

Remember you have to add this key if it is not already there.

So go to hkey_local_machine\software\OEM\Phone Setting

Then click Edit/New DWORD Value/ then under Value name type TrustTimeZoneField then under Value put 0
