I think I know the answer to my question
but figure it can't hurt to ask.
I was sold a HTC Touch Diamond on the basis that it would work on the Telstra Next G network in ruralAustralia (i.e. I could use HSDPA on the 850Mhz band), but this is not the case as it only connects to the old slow EDGE network on this band.
The person who sold me this phone is now refusing to take the phone back and has seemingly washed his hands of it.
Does anyone know if it is possible to force this phone to work wth HSDPA on the 850Mhz band or if there is a firmware upgrade that I can use to make it happen.
