How can I keep the keypad visible while making a call?

This is a serious problem. I can't make keypad entries while acall is connected. How do i keep the screen from going blank while making a call? I found an old thread which led to a download site but that didn't help me as there were no instructions as to what to do with the download (a .rar file). I fI can't find a solution to this I'm getting rid of this phone.

The screen goes blank to stop your ear or cheek from hitting screen and interfering with your call. All you need to do is press the power button and the screen turns on.

I believe you will want the Diamond Tweaks program which allows you to change that behaviour. You may need to install NETCF 3.5 for it to work.
