If you open the text message and go to Menu -> Reply -> Forward, you can forward a message.

There seems to be a temporary way. If you delete the text message and find it in the deleted folders, you are able to forward it.

Actually, I just figured out how to forward messages.

Go to your Messages tab.
Click on "All Messages."
Click on the text you want to forward.
Tap the screen and press "down" until you highlight the correct text to forward.
Go to Menu and Forward.

I think the option itself is disabled, because it acts as you wanted to forward the whole conversation.

Here's How I do it (although I will concede it's not very intuitive).

When the text message comes in on TouchFlo, tap the message.

In the message screen above where you enter the reply message, you will see the original text message with a link to the author.  Click the link with the author's name.  This will bring up the contact information.  Close the contact information - the most recent message will now be highlighted and turned a shade of blue.  The Forward option on the menu will now be available to you.

It shouldn't be this difficult, but it's the most reliable way I've found to forward only the most recent message.

If anybody has an easier way, I'm all ears....

When you say forward is greyed out - have you clicked on one message to select it?  If it's part of a conversation, 'forward' is greyed out. It's not until you click on one that 'forward' becomes clickable.

hmmm.....well that's the only way I know how to change it.

Maybe someone can tell you what registry key to edit to do it.
