Hi everyone
I dont have the HTC Touch Diamond in my hands yet but will very soon.  I want to be able to chat on Yahoo Messenger with it.  Can I download it?  And will I get alerts like on the iphone when a contact goes online?  Sorry if i sound silly but im not very techy!  Please help!  Many thanks...

Thanks so much for that!  I'll give her a whirl once I have my unit.  But until that time...Could you please tell me if it has a push function similar to iphone so I know when a contact goes online?  Is this unit descent for chatting with?

PS:  I just read some of the reviews and it says it doesn't work??  Can someone please confirm what will in fact work and if they are currently using it??  I will mainly use this phone for YM chatting so if its no good for that I will not activate this phone.  So please help me figure this out before I make a potentially big mistake in choosing this phone ok?  Thanks again!

Sorry i went straight to the source hoping that would be what you were after.  Anyways I used OZ IM a long time ago when I first got my Diamond and don't really remember any of the functions.  So you can either give that a try or read this thread from PPCGeeks.
