Camera not capturing any image the rainbow circle goes round

Hi All,

When i try to take a take a picture with my HTC Diamond, it Auto Focus and when i click there is Rainbow Cirlce that turns and turn and then it return with out any activity.
No Picture is captured.

Please help! - My HTC doesnt function as a Camera Cry

That is certainly odd behavior, is your Diamond new or have you had it for a while then it stopped working? If it's new, this may sound dumb but you have to take off the plastic on the front of the hard keys. When I first got mine, I left the plastic on and it did the same thing.

Maybe try a hard reset...
