Add Contacts

Hi I just bought a Htc Diamond.

How do i add contacts straight from call history? I tried adding and everytime I enter a name, it says 'matching..'
Whats the problem?

To add to contacts from call history. From the home screen push "phone" (bottom left), then when on the phone screen click "menu", (bottom right). Then "call history", when the history comes up, select the number you want to save. Then above the number it says "unknown", push that, then another screen comes up, push "save" bottom left.

I had the same problem, did a soft reset (stylus into hole on the bottom) and then it worked just like it should.
