A lot of people seem to think its Diamond Tweak (the program) thats causing this, not sure.
Here is a fix:
http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=40427

Thanks TnTsNipEs!  (yes I gave you a cookie! haha)

To paraphrase the ppcgeeks link:
HKLM/Comm/ConnMgr/Planner/Settings/SuspendResume
The value should be #777
If it says anything else like: ~GPRS, change it back to #777
Soft Reset

Anyone find out if the battery "pollinterval" is possible on the GSM US 3G Touch Diamond yet?

When I browse to this directory in the registry, "pollinterval" is not one of the keys.

Thanks!

I'm almost 90% sure it doesn't work on GSM versions. I could be wrong.

Sorry nothing yet. Was really busy at work and @ house yesterday and today. I'll try to post something either tomorrow night or sunday night. Sorry about that.

Siptang - this is reply #39 and it was on 10/24.  The next reply, #40, is from 10/28.  If you posted anything on Sunday, it got lost somewhere.

What is the data mod?

Maybe we should add that fix to the front page? The Call Answer Button fix?

Sorry about that man. I typed in using my phone and "clumsy me" must have happened...
yea there was no pollinterval and I couldn't figure around a way around that and couldn't find any on-line.

data mod

using diamond tweaks

Goto data and hit Data Time out 60sec
This will disable data after 60secs of inactivity which will save you some battery life.

I downloaded the weather database editor program. All it's doing is extracting a few files onto my laptop harddrive. How do I get it to run on my diamond so I can change the city? I downloaded and installed the windows program first. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
