Hi there,

I have the phone in my posession for one day and I must admitt, for me as a layman when we're talking about smartphones/touchphones, it's kinda difficult. The MUSIC map is not located on the Internal Storage card, containing 4GB. But it's located on the 84mb one. This causes a problem playing the music through the HTC Music Player. (WMP is ofcourse another option that works perftectly). Anyone who knows how to put that music map on the internal storage card or another kinda option so ppl can play music using the HTC player instead of WMP?

Greets,

MPWE Hendriks

(btw: the phone in total rocks!! Sluggy at times, but no longer than 0.2 seconds delay!!)

[EDITED: Uhmm like I said I was a layman, just had to go the Liberary on the HTC player and found my music in there  Lips Sealed Lips Sealed]

I had trouble figuring out how to get to music I downloaded from my computer.  I also had a problem using ActiveSync.  I kept filling up the  84mb storage and getting a nasty message from the phone.  But I am still learning.

hi i'm am about to buy a phone and i am hesitating between the htc touch diamond and the nokia n95 8gb, what would you suggest? Can you go through your music without doing 1 song at a time can you do it like on the iphomne just scroll fast? Is the sound good? and i've heard that the battery life is very short, can it last a day?
thank you.

Hi all.  I did a search and came up with nothing.  Call me dum but I cant seem to find a rewind/fastforward button while in listining to music how strange!  I press the nav. button left or right and all that does is tab over to the next thing meaning web or what ever is next.  I know if you press and hold that line below your music cover where it shows you how long that album is it just advance the song a little.  What Im looking for is a dedicated rewing/fastforward button.  How strange they wouldnt put that on but maybe Im just missing it. Any help would be greatly appreciated Thank you.

That line below the music cover is the fast forward and rewind.  To me it's easier than two dedicated buttons, you press and hold and slide left or right depending which way you want to go.  When you press it, the line gets bigger, you can even slide your finger up or down a little so you can see where you are going in the song.

Hope that helps.

Thank you for your response.  I appreciated.  Hmm! How strange they made that a rewind/fastfoward.  So when your finger is on the line your saying you can go up or down a little on that straight line?  Here is a question thats REALLY STRANGE.  I went to go download a song from the Sprint music store and everything find at this point. Now check this out.  I wanted to go listen to all the pre ring tones just to see what they all sound like.  I came across the song that I downloaded.  How strange.  What is it doing in there? or how did it get there?  I Havent used my mp3 trimmer yet so I dont get this one. I want to erase it out of there but dont know how.  Any help on answering my questions would be greatly appreciated.  Thank you.

I created a folder under My Documents on the internal drive and pasted music into there.

You just got to tell it where to look for the music.

Also, you have to update the library whenever you upload music or video content

I use vlc player. I would say that is it one of the best media players out there with its light-weight design and customizable interface. I used it for quite a white and it never had any bugs or crashes. Check out the vlc player download page if interested. Here's the link to vlc player download page if somebody doesn't know what it is. First of download the newest version from the vlc player download page or use the update option in VLC. My player used to crash too back in the day but everything got fixed with a simple reinstall.
