GPS-Google Maps help

Hi, was hoping someone out there could help with a problem I'm experiencing.

I just downloaded the latest Google Maps application for the Touch Diamond and experienced 2 problems:

1. It can never find any GPS satellites
2. There isn't any active tracking.

My GPS programme port is set to COM4, my hardware port set to "None" and the Baud rate is 4800. in access GPS is set to be managed automatically, but with all these settings I still can't get it to find a satellite to get a more accurate location. I hope someone can help (°‹°,) if more info is needed I'll gladly supply it.
