GPS (or other interesting) applications?

Hey there forum. I'm interested in downloading a program for my Sprint HTC Diamond that will allow me to track my position while I'm hiking. Maybe one that shows my exact position, lets me mark points I've been too, so I can find my way back to where I've been, etc. Can anyone recommend a good one?

Or point me to some of the best sites for downloading applications in a user friendly way?
