A feature I really miss from my Treo is the Google Search bar on home screen.  I used this all the time.  It was really convenient to turn the phone on type in a business name, and get the phone number without having to open up the browser, go to Google, wait for it to load, and then type in the name.

Is there any way to add something like this to the Diamond?

Thanks

that is sorta what Livesearch is, isnt it?  You can add livesearch to the today screen, you just cant add it to the touchflo screen

Ok...maybe I'm confused.   I don't have the traditional WinMo Today Screen.  I have the TouchFlo "Home" screen.  If I click on Start, Today, it takes me to the TouchFlo "home" screen.

I've added Windows Live Search to the Today screen via the Today settings but it doesn't show up on the Home screen and I can't seem to view a traditional "Today" screen.

Thanks

That setting to add things to the today screen is for the original "today" that comes with windows mobile (behind the Touchflo interface).  Adding bars to the Touchflo3d home screen might be an option in the near future on a 3rd party Rom.... speculating of course.  I would recommend not checking anything in the list except Touchflo in case there could be performance issues.

If you want to check out what the WinMo touch screen looks like, uncheck Touchflo from the list, and check some of the options (might need to soft reset afterwards... sometimes half the screen will be non-functional until the reset).

That's what I thought.  Hopefully someone develops something soon because I'd love to be able to search again from my Home screen like I did so frequently on the Treo.

Thanks
