A lot of us are having problems with the Airave and the diamond/pro.. Here is the fix, its simple and works perfect. (The problem is, the diamond/pro wants to stay in EVDO and will pull that towers signal no matter what because it has EVDO for data..)
Using a reg edit program (I used PHM)
goto HKLM>Software>OEM>PhoneSetting>HiddenModeOperation
Change the value from 1 to 0..
This will open up a hidden menu in the Settings, Personal, Phone, Services, Mode of Operation, Change it to 1x
This will ensure that your running 1x while on the Airave, which will then give you full bars w/ out a problem. Then all you do is change it back to EVDO when you leave your home.
