Deleting E-mail account - HTC Touch Diamond

I have a problem trying to delete an email off my phone it simply won't delete or allow me to open it. It is just junk email but I am trying to delete the whole email account, but it wont let me it is grayed out how can I delete this account so I can reinstall it also if I got to the computer to check my hotmail to remove the email from there it doesn't show up, only on the phone. Also can my phone get viruses and if so do they make cellphone anti virus?

Your phone cannot get viruses like a computer will.

Is your account you are trying to delete off your phone the Hotmail account? If so here are the instructions.

Select Start>Programs>WindowsLive>Menu>Account Options>Switch Accounts

The next screen to show up is the EULA, when that appears select REJECT. Thats it.

NICE!!!!!!!!!! Thats what I needed it, worked perfectly thanks for the fast reply I been trying to do this for a couple of hours now (off and on) and couldn't figure this out.................big UPS!
