Sprint PCS Release Date for HTC Diamond Pushed back.

Well, Unfortunately I just got off the horn with Sprint. The Release date for the HTC Diamond has been pushed back to the 24th of September. Well I think that just stinks, but I guess in the end, the best come to those that wait.

I think that is the date for being in stores. I keep hearing the 14th for telesales.

On the phone, Sprint has info that it has been officially released on the 2nd... but the don't have them in the warehouses yet. Go figure what that means. Grin

I hope you are correct. The sooner I can get this phone the better. It would be nice to have it before halloween. I drive a tractor trailer so even if it gets to the house, I wont get it till the next time I go home.

Particularly noticed this part in the beginning: "While the official announcement wasn't supposed to cross the wires till next week..."

Does this mean the phone is a week from being officially announced? Who knows...

That date is definitely for in store sales....I just worked a deal to switch from my Instinct to a Diamond and will have it on Monday of next week. You can get the Diamond through Tele Sales right now.
